Steve is a Senior Director in Cedar’s US offices. He has over 30 years of experience, having worked as a consultant since 1988 from bases in Hong Kong, London, Singapore and now Washington DC as a strategy and global market-entry expert. Steve is also a China specialist, having assisted major US and international corporations enter the Chinese market. His work spans across a range of industries including consumer goods, electronics, chemicals, textiles, automotive, telecommunications, real estate and new media. In addition, he has worked closely with regional companies, particularly in the Middle East, with expansion into new regional and global markets. Some of Steve’s global clients include Caterpillar, Bristol Myers Squibb, Sara Lee, DuPont, Emerson Electric and Whirlpool. Also fluent in Mandarin, Steve has a dual BA in Economics & Asian studies from the University of Michigan. He has further acquired an MA in International Relations from the Fletcher Schools, Tufts University.
