Sanjiv has driven over $3 Billion of foreign direct investment into Asia, and has assisted private equity firms make successful investments. He is well published, and has been a key note speaker at global conferences. A former YPO & WPO Chair, he is the author of “Unlocking Human Capital to Drive Performance: A CEO Handbook” published by McGraw Hill. His latest title “Execution Excellence | Making Strategy Work using the Balanced Scorecard” was globally released by J.Wiley and is a bestseller in its genre. Sanjiv also chairs the NYU Stern India Alumni Group.

His global clients include Caterpillar, Bristol Myers Squibb, Sara Lee, DuPont, Emerson Electric and Whirlpool. He has worked across a range of industries including consumer goods, electronics, chemicals, textiles, automotive, telecommunications, real estate and new media. In addition, he has worked closely with regional companies, particularly in the Middle East, with expansion into new regional and global markets.


Murtaza Shaikhally

He is a subject matter expert in the area of Islamic banking and was earlier heading the business intelligence function at Dubai Islamic Bank. Vincenzo Casillo

Vincenzo has over 12 years of consulting experience in Europe. His experience areas include IT Strategy and Digital Performance Improvement. He has been responsible for driving technology, business and process transformation projects for large European banks in ICT and Operations. Prior to Cedar, he worked at PwC Advisory as part of the Financial Services Banking Transformation team. Vin’s past experience also includes operational risk management & internal auditing at Deloitte Consulting.

Alain Larocque

Alain has 10 years of consulting experience working primarily in strategy and business development, as well as 10 years in senior management roles in the consumer products and logistics industries. He has assisted in roles relating to growth-enabling, market-entry strategy, and sales and marketing. His global clients have included multinationals such as Unilever, SC Johnson, Kraft General Foods, and Duracell, amongst others. Alain also played a key role for Heineken where he set up the sales, marketing and distribution business for Tiger Beer in China, after which he went on to expand Van Houtte coffee’s (now Keurig Canada) supermarket retail business across the whole of Canada and the US East Coast. He was also VP East and VP Operations in Canada for Schenker, the German full-service logistics multinational. Having worked from locations around the world, Alain is fluent in Mandarin, Spanish, and French.

Peter’s clients have covered a wide range of industries and include Bosch, Siemens, EADS, Glaxo Wellcome, Schneider, VEBA, and EADS. He has also assisted financial services clients in business due diligence where his clients have included HSBC, 3i, and HypoVereinsbank. Peter has also worked with Mercer Management Consulting and the UN in Brazil in the past. Peter speaks German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.


Thomas F. Cooley

Thomas F. Cooley is the Paganelli-Bull Professor of Economics at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, as well as a Professor of Economics in the NYU Faculty of Arts and Science. He served as Dean of NYU Stern from 2002 to January 2010. Before joining Stern, he was a Professor of Economics at the University of Rochester, University of Pennsylvania, and UC Santa Barbara.He is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also the former President of the Society for Economic Dynamics, a Fellow of the Econometric Society. He has served on the board of Thornburgh Mortgage Co. and the Board of Managers of Standard & Poor’s and as an advisor to many firms. Together with Stern colleagues he edited and wrote the book, Regulating Wall Street: The Dodd-Frank Act and the New Architecture of Global Finance (Wiley, November 2010).

Steak Sauce and Grey Poupon (Kraft Foods). Greg has been an advisor and strategic expert to major food and beverage processors and operators including Burger King, Heinz, Marriott, McCormick and Tyson. Greg currently also spends some of his time exploring the kitchenware, dinnerware and culinary education business with US retailer Sur La Table.
